OD and OD run-out

The non-contact, precise inspection is carried out using a laser inspection machine that is lined up in two upper and lower rows.
This inspection machine is commonplace in the brush industry, but UTK Systems was actually the first.
  • Balance measurement Dynamic balance of the brush can be measured on request.
    *Measurement may not be possible due to shaft shape.

Brushes for Inside Diameter polishing

  • Amount of bristles brush measurement A microscope is used to measure the amount of bristles per square millimetre of brush.
  • Outer diameter inspection The outer diameter of each brush is measured in three places (upper, middle and lower).
    *Measurements may not be possible due to brush dimensions.
  • Tension test On request, tensile testing can be carried out to determine the strength of the brushes.
  • Hardness test On request, a hardness test can be performed to determine the hardness of the brushes.
